In this weeks Bogey Blog resident pro Josh Oddy, is teaching you how to hit a knockdown iron shot, follow these steps:
Ball Position: Place the ball slightly back in your stance, closer to your back foot. This promotes a lower trajectory.
Swing Control: Swing with a three-quarter backswing and follow-through, reducing the power to keep the shot lower.
Club Selection: Choose a club with less loft than you would typically use for the distance, such as a 7 or 8 iron instead of a 9 iron. This helps keep the ball flight lower.
Next time your playing on a windy day, give these tips a go!
