Struggling with the hooks?

In this weeks Bogey Blog our resident Pro, Josh Oddy, is going to give you some simple tips to get rid of those devastating snap hooks!

These are an absolute round destroyer and a money waster. When you step up to every tee box, pull driver and watch another golf ball snap hook into the trees, its enough to make you want to quit!
Follow these 2 simple tips:
1. Weaker grip - this means where the right hand is more 'on top' of the grip. When you look down at your right hand, try and feel like the 'V' between thumb and index finger points more toward your left shoulder (for RH golfers).
2. Clubhead outside handline - people who hook the ball will often whip the clubhead inside very quickly. You need to feel like the clubhead stays more to the outside of your hands on takeaway. Try putting a range basket behind the ball on the inside line when practicing to stop you from whipping inside to quickly.
Give these tips a go, and cure those nasty snap hooks!
